All together, December 2023 = 100
Each line shows how much that variable has risen since December 2023. Hover to see the values for each month. Note on the dollar: the December 2023 average includes the days before the 13/12 devaluation.
Calculator
Enter the original price, the base month (that of the original price or the one set by the contract), the month you want to adjust to, and what percentage of the price follows each variable. Whatever you do not assign stays fixed.
- Diesel: +208.9% between Dec 2023 and Aug 2026 → contributes +62.7%
- Wholesale inflation: +151.1% between Dec 2023 and Aug 2026 (provisional data) → contributes +60.4%
- Truck drivers: +349.6% between Dec 2023 and Aug 2026 → contributes +104.9%
Formula: K = fixed + Σ (weight × index of the adjustment month ÷ index of the base month). Adjusted price = P₀ × K. The example weights (30% diesel, 40% wholesale, 30% truck drivers) are illustrative: use those in your contract.
Diesel Grade 3
Pump price of Grade 3 Diesel (Infinia Diesel, V-Power Diesel, Quantium Diesel and equivalents), nationwide median in the "Al público" (retail) channel. It is the low-sulfur diesel used by pickups, trucks and equipment with Euro V engines.

Official dollar (BCRA, Com. A 3500)
Central Bank reference exchange rate (Communication "A" 3500), the official wholesale dollar. It is the one dollar-denominated contracts paid in pesos usually use. For the formula we take each month's average; the latest daily value is also shown below.
Latest daily value: $ 1,517.00 on 07/10/2026 · end of Sep 2026: $ 1,517.00. In December 2023 it started at $ 361.10 and on 13/12/2023 it jumped to $ 799.95 with the devaluation: that is why the December 2023 average ($ 643.07) is below the end-of-month value ($ 808.45). If your contract is after the devaluation, use January 2024 as the base month.
