What's coming in Argentina
- MATER: 59 wind and solar projects totaling 4,294 MW have dispatch priority and await commissioning; in the second half of 2025, 1,225 MW were assigned and in the first half of 2026, 513 MW.
- Batteries: 1,413.5 MW awarded in 32 projects (AlmaGBA and AlmaSADI); the first ones enter operation for the 2026-2027 summer. See BESS.
- Transmission: without new high-voltage lines, Patagonia, Cuyo and the Northwest cannot add more farms. It is the sector's main bottleneck.
- Industrial demand: mining, oil and industry are buying more and more renewable energy under private contracts; several large projects (El Quemado, Olavarría) entered the RIGI.
