Legal notice · Terms and conditions · Privacy policy
1. Acceptance
These terms govern the use of faufena.com, operated by Lautaro Maggi, CUIT 20-33555568-7, domiciled in Ingeniero Maschwitz, Escobar district, Buenos Aires Province, Argentine Republic. By using the site you accept them. If you do not agree, do not use it. The Legal notice and the Privacy policy form part of these terms.
2. The service
faufena is a free catalog of industry suppliers and contractors (see Legal notice). It includes, among other things, search and filters, registered users, company profiles, the Contact form of companies with a Premium plan, the “Upload what you need” tool, informational content and the form to list or claim a company.
We may add, change, suspend or remove features at any time.
3. Permitted use
You may consult the catalog and share its profiles for legitimate informational and commercial purposes. The following is not permitted:
- Extracting the database in bulk or by automated means (scraping, bots or similar), copying it, reselling it or using it to build another directory.
- Using contact details to send unsolicited or bulk commercial communications (spam).
- Impersonating another person or company, or entering false data.
- Uploading content that is illegal, offensive, contains viruses or infringes third-party rights.
- Interfering with the operation or security of the site.
We may block access or deactivate the account of anyone who fails to comply with these rules. Your account is personal: protect access to your email.
4. Forms
List your company / claim a profile. By submitting the form you declare that the information is correct and that you are authorized to represent the company. We review each request and may reject it, edit it or ask for more data before publishing it.
Contact. The form sends your inquiry to the chosen company. faufena is not responsible for that company's response, terms or performance.
5. Upload what you need
It can be used by anyone, without registering. The tool reads the document or text you upload and automatically suggests categories and suppliers: without an account, by searching for category names within the text; with a registered account, also with the help of artificial intelligence, which can also read photos and scanned PDFs. Suggestions may contain errors or omissions: review them before using them.
AI analysis has a usage limit per user per day, to prevent abuse and bots. Once the limit is reached, the tool keeps working with keyword search.
Upload only documents you have the right to use. Do not upload confidential information or personal data that is not necessary. We do not store the file or its content (see Privacy policy).
6. Paid plans
Being listed on faufena is free. Paid plans (such as Premium) add tools and visibility within the site, but do not guarantee results: not visits, nor inquiries, nor contacts, nor sales. Their price, scope, billing, renewal and how to cancel them are disclosed at the time of purchase.
7. Intellectual property
The design, code, catalog structure, texts and brand of faufena belong to its owner. “faufena” and “Encontrá al que te quiere encontrar” are trademarks of its owner. The logos, names and content of each company or institution belong to their owners.
8. Links to third-party sites
The site links to third-party websites, documents and social networks. We do not control them and are not responsible for their content, availability or policies.
9. Limitation of liability
To the extent permitted by law, faufena is not liable for:
- Errors, omissions or outdated information in what is published.
- Decisions you make based on that information, or damages arising from relationships between users and companies in the catalog.
- Interruptions, delays, technical failures, viruses or attacks affecting the site.
Nothing in this limits the inalienable rights that Consumer Protection Law No. 24,240 recognizes for consumers.
10. Changes
We may modify these terms. The current version is the one published on this page, with its update date.
11. Governing law and jurisdiction
These terms are governed by the laws of the Argentine Republic. For any dispute, the ordinary courts of Buenos Aires Province corresponding to the controller's domicile shall have jurisdiction, without prejudice to consumers' right to sue in their own domicile.
