What does it mean for a company to be verified?
It has already shown that it works in the oil, gas, energy or mining industry. It is not a newcomer: it knows how Oil & Gas works in Argentina and has a track record to back it up.
How do we know it has a track record?
Because it appears in at least one of these public sources: it is a member of GAPP (Grupo Argentino de Proveedores Petroleros) or CAPIPE (Cámara Argentina de Proveedores de la Industria Petro-Energética), holds the Neuquén supplier certificate from the Centro PyME-ADENEU (Law 3338), is a member of the Córdoba Oil, Gas and Mining Cluster or the Mar del Plata Energy Cluster, or took part as an exhibitor at Argentina Oil & Gas Expo (AOG) or Arminera. Holding a current ASME stamp (U, U2, S, T…), which certifies that it can manufacture equipment under the ASME Code, also counts. In addition, the faufena team validates companies it knows personally for their track record in the industry: they appear as Validated by faufena.
Where can I see why a company is verified?
On each company's profile, in the Proven track record box. It lists the institutions and events, with a link to the company's page at each institution and, for the Centro PyME-ADENEU, to its certificate.
What do the AOG 2024, AOG 2025 squares mean?
They show which editions of Argentina Oil & Gas Expo the company took part in as an exhibitor, according to the official lists of each edition. Tap the square on the company profile to download that year's catalog or exhibitor list. All of them are available to download below.
What do ASME U, U2, S and T mean?
These are the ASME Code stamps the company holds: U pressure vessels (Section VIII Div. 1), U2 pressure vessels with more demanding design (Div. 2), S power boilers (Section I) and T transport tanks (Section XII). They can be verified in the official ASME directory.
What is a manufacturer with its own shop?
A company that builds the equipment in its own shop, with its own people and lifting equipment, and does not outsource fabrication to another shop.
Do you have to pay to be verified?
No. Verification does not depend on any plan. A verified company can have the free plan or Premium. Premium adds the Contact form to receive inquiries, and company photos. Catalogs are published on all plans.
