1. Controller
The controller of faufena's databases is Lautaro Maggi, CUIT 20-33555568-7, domiciled in Ingeniero Maschwitz, Escobar district, Buenos Aires Province, Argentine Republic. For any personal data matter write to us at [email protected].

Providing us with your data is voluntary. Without a valid email we cannot reply to you or create your account.
3. Individuals
faufena publishes companies, not people. We do not publish independent professionals or individuals as suppliers. If a personal data item of yours appears on a profile (for example, a mobile number or a personal profile taken from the company's website), ask us to remove it and we will do so without further formalities.
4. Upload what you need and voice search
Upload what you need can be used by anyone. When you upload a file, it is read in your browser.
- Without an account: the category search is done in your own browser. The file and its content do not leave your device.
- With a registered account: the text (or the image, if it is a photo or a scanned PDF) is sent to our server and to an artificial intelligence provider (Anthropic) solely to identify the categories. For each query we store only the date and file type, associated with your account, to enforce the usage limit.
In no case do we store the file or its content, or use it for any other purpose.
Voice search uses your browser's speech recognition. Depending on the browser, audio may be processed on its manufacturer's servers (for example, Google in Chrome). faufena only receives the resulting text, like any other search.
5. Who we share data with
We do not sell or transfer personal data. We use providers that process it on our behalf: Supabase (database, with servers in Brazil), Cloudflare (hosting and bot protection), Google (statistics), Fastmail (email) and Anthropic (Upload what you need). Some are outside Argentina; we require them to apply adequate security measures.
We may also disclose it to our accounting or legal advisors when necessary, and to an administrative or judicial authority that requests it in accordance with the law.
6. How long we keep it
Requests and inquiries, up to 24 months. Registered users' data, while the account is active and up to 12 months after it is closed. Billing data, for the period required by tax regulations. Documents from Upload what you need are not stored; for each artificial intelligence query (registered users only), the date and file type remain.
7. Your rights
You may request access, rectification, updating or deletion of your data by writing to [email protected]. We respond to an access request within 10 calendar days and to a rectification or deletion request within 5 business days (Law 25,326, articles 14 and 16). Access is free of charge at intervals of no less than six months, unless you demonstrate a legitimate interest. You may also object to processing or withdraw your consent where the law allows.
8. Cookies and storage in your browser
Google Analytics uses cookies for statistics. You can block them from your browser or with the Google Analytics opt-out add-on; the site keeps working the same.
We also store some preferences in your browser (light or dark mode, lightweight loading and how results are displayed) and, if you signed in, your session, which stays active until you click Sign out.
9. Communications
If you leave us your email, we may write to you about the request or inquiry you submitted. If in the future we send you news from faufena or the industry, each email will include a way to unsubscribe.
10. Security
We use encrypted connections, access controls and minimum permissions in the database. No system is infallible: if we detect an incident affecting your data, we will notify you.
11. Minors
faufena is directed at the industry and not at minors under 18 years old. If we learn that a minor has given us their data, we delete it.
12. Control authority
The AGENCIA DE ACCESO A LA INFORMACIÓN PÚBLICA (AAIP, Agency for Access to Public Information), in its capacity as Control Body of Law No. 25,326, has the authority to handle complaints and claims filed by persons whose rights are affected by non-compliance with the regulations in force on personal data protection.
13. Changes
We may update this policy. The current version is the one published on this page, with its update date.
